This year Breakaway is ALIVE! Come each morning to The Gallery to worship God and experience creative, interactive teaching with teenagers from across the United States. The purpose is to infuse passion and an unquenchable fire for God into the lives of students, transforming apathy into a real love for Jesus.

Phil Joel - Deliberate People
Phil Joel (formerly of the Newsboys) is the founder of Deliberate People, a movement encouraging people to deliberately pursue their relationship with God on a daily basis. Phil will challenge and equip students to position themselves to hear from God and communicate with Him in the midst of this noisy world.

Adam is the youth pastor at Metro South Church in Trenton, MI. He is passionate about igniting the hearts of young people and preparing them to live fully ALIVE in Christ.
Adam will be challenging students with the question, “What does it really mean to be ALIVE in Christ?” So often as teenagers who follow Christ it seems like the world has all the fun. If we are honest, we feel like following Christ is the “boring” life. When you begin to understand and experience what being ALIVE in Christ really means, never again will you envy the world. Living ALIVE in Christ is far deeper, far more sacrificial, and far more fulfilling than you ever imagined!

Chris and his wife Tracy lead a successful college/20 somethings ministry at Metro South Church in Trenton, MI. He possesses a unique passion to equip college-age students to genuinely worship the one true God with their lives.
Have you ever had a moment in life where you looked to God and asked this question: “Are you serious?” Because let’s just be honest, there are some things in life that hurt, are unfair, and unexplainable, but what if everything happened for a reason? What if you could explain the unexplainable? What if what was happening could wake up a dead generation? Come see how you have been chosen to change your generation.

This is a little insight into their heart…
From one side of the planet to the other, music is the voice of a nation, a people and each generation. It’s the cry of their passion. It speaks of their hope and screams of their despair. It reflects their soul and breathes life to what is deep inside. Yet, most often the music stops when they stop. Their voices stop when they stop because generally they sing of things that will end. They sing of things that will not live beyond them. The ALIVE Band chooses to raise their voices to the ONE that lives forever. They sing, play and dance to give expression to the hope that’s been made ALIVE in them. That hope is Jesus. They want their efforts and talents to make God famous. For them and for the church body they are a part of, worship is not a song but a dying process. More of HIM. Less of us.
Youth Leaders' Oasis - New This Year! Otto Jensen and his wife, Laura, will be hosting our Youth Leader’s Oasis. It’s located in middle of the Reserved Group Camping area. If you have any questions about the festival, need help finding your campsite, or just want a cold soda, stop on by. We will have coffee, cold drinks, Programs, and a place to hang out and fellowship with other youth leaders from across the country and around the world! See you there!
