Breakaway - Our specially designed program for high school students

10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thu.-Sat. in the Gallery

Breakaway is the perfect place for teenagers from across the country to connect with one another. It is a community within the larger community of Cornerstone, focused on worship and times of sharing that will challenge and encourage everyone in their personal journey with God. It’s a great way to start the day!

This year we are happy to welcome back Jimmy Renslow. Jimmy, our host for the past 3 summers, was a youth pastor for 15 years and is now serving as the founding pastor of The Church at 5:14 in Greensboro, N.C. 

LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL (Thursday)
Brian Raison will share on how to stay strong in your faith during college and/or as you begin life in the working world.
Brian Raison serves as an adolescent development specialist at Ohio State University. He authored the national award-winning College 101 seminar and founded CollegeFaith.org to help students make successful transitions in life.

STORY AND THE SILVER CHAIR: LEARNING EFFECTIVE EVANGELISM WITH C. S. LEWIS (Friday)
Nowhere in Narnia does C. S. Lewis model more effective evangelism than he does in the opening pages of The Silver Chair. A life of reading offers a reliable guide on our personal journey with God. Andrew Lazo will guide us through both of these points with humor, insight, scripture and practical suggestions for how we can better shine our light.
Andrew Lazo is a teacher and scholar on C. S. Lewis and a Field Representative for the C. S. Lewis Foundation.

IN THE EYE OF A STORM (Saturday)
Traa will be sharing his journey as a rock star and a follower of Jesus. He was tempted with things beyond his wildest dreams and yet his faith brought him through and kept him strong.
Traa is President and CEO of Ryot Entertainment Group, and a member of the multi-platinum selling band P.O.D.
