Imagination & Incarnation  We're not shy: we think the Imaginarium is the coolest venue at Cornerstone Festival. Those who don't know often think we're just "a bunch of sci-fi geeks" watching B movies. There is that, true. But you'd have to be a part of this community- within-the-community to understand how the Imaginarium is so much more. The juxtaposition of seminars, films, displays, and activities, of pop and "high" culture, of literature and science and myth, are extremely combustable. On front burner for 2006: Halloween, which some people think is scary. What's always been scary to us is the disembodiment that comes of rejecting as "pagan" or "occultic" one's own humanity, including our human need for image, symbol and ceremony — key elements of our 2006 Imaginarium journey. We'll exorcise those ghosts once and for all with a reconsideration of the central Christian dogma: the Incarnation, and a reminder that following Christ necessarily begins with becoming human.

Special thanks to our longtime Prize Giveaway sponsor, Sideshow Collectables.
