Brian "Head" Welch Speaking At Cornerstone 

On Saturday, July 5th Brian “Head” Welch, formerly of the mega rock band Korn, will share his journey to faith, how he found God, quit the band, kicked drugs, and lived to tell his story. He will be speaking at Breakaway at 10:30 a.m. and on Main Stage at 7:50 p.m.

“The enthusiasm from Korn’s early days was gone. I just sat there in so much dark depression . . . How did I get here? . . . Why is my life such a nightmare? . . . It felt like I was under a curse, honestly. I was stuck And it didn’t look like I was ever going to get out.” –Brian “Head” Welch

Christian Rock Pioneer Dies at 60 

Our long time friend and music pioneer Larry Norman passed away Sunday morning. The singer, songwriter, and producer known as the "father of Christian rock music," died of heart failure on Sunday (Feb. 24) in his Salem, Oregon home. He was 60. Read more here.

Generator Stages 

The generator stages make Cornerstone a unique experience by allowing anyone to share their music.

That's right anyone can host a generator stage at Cornerstone. Some are as simple as setting up on the grass with a small PA. A few adventurous folks bring it all: stage, sound, lights, and even a big circus tent to keep out that summer sun.

New this year, you can pre-register and in return Cornerstone will link to your stage website, provide a way for you to earn the cash to pull it all together, and reserve your spot.

Jesus For President 

Cornerstone Festival is proud to be hosting one stop on the Jesus For President tour in 2008.

This session is part of a larger national book tour aimed at provoking the Christian political imagination. Shane Claiborne and Chris Haw want to transcend the questions of "who should I vote for" and "for which candidate" and move into the deeper questions of Christian identity and allegiance through biblical teaching and storytelling. Q: Are there going to be day passes?

A: No, we will not be having one day passes this year. The tickets will be full price through Thursday. Starting Friday morning they will be reduced to $90, and Saturday the tickets will be $45.
