What our friends and Cornerstone family are saying

Thanks for all the kinds words!

Never go back to normal! I was thirteen at the first Cornerstone Festival and it completely blew my mind. "Normal" Christianity in my world had been safe, sanitized, corporate and often compromised. Cornerstone was the best kind of "not normal" and has been exactly what I have needed ever since. I have never missed a single gathering and I am expecting incredible things this year. Sure, there are other, normal, Christian festivals to choose from. But there has only ever been one Cornerstone to experience. I'm heartbroken to see it go and I am determined to send it off in style. Don't miss this last chance to gather together with other beautifully bent believers for a time of fun, fellowship, learning, music, celebration, expression and community that just may change your life like it did mine. I'll see you there! JJT

The Choir was the first band to play on the first day of the very first Cornerstone. It would be our honor to play the last one. Dan Michaels, The Choir

It goes without saying, but I'm going to say it: Cornerstone Festival is rich in love, rich in fellowship, rich in 'one for the ages' performances by artists, and it's almost impossible not to be stirred by the Spirit as you move about on the grounds and take it all in. It's not even a discussion or a question of, 'Will I go to Cornerstone?' It's simply, 'Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, we'll see you there.' I mean it. Doug Van Pelt, HM Magazine

Speaking at Cornerstone has been a life-time dream for me and I am so grateful for this opportunity! And now I have no excuse not to rock out, fully worship and fully love during Cornerstone. Time to make some rad memories and new friends! Jeff the Girl, Five Iron Frenzy

We all fall into two categories;
1. I've been to Cornerstone Festival
2. I've always wanted to go to Cornerstone Festival

Many of you in Category 2 have always thought "Oh, I'll make it there someday..." and have put it off for 29 years now.

Well, July 2-7 is your Some Day because after that, there won't be a Cornerstone Festival for you to dream about going to... someday...

I am sad to hear this the last cornerstone. It's been a part of my life for so long, I can't imagine life without it, I look forward to every year, the fellowship, meeting new people, hearing their life stories and experiences. The sense of community and fellowship has been life changing. I am thankful my 10 year old son has had the opportunity to go every year of his life. He talks about it all year. There are no words to describe the impact the fest has had in my life. Bryan Gray, The Blamed

Thank you (x 29) for providing misfit bands like us with a stage like no other -- just shy of 3 decades! Blessed be the Rock. Steve Hindalong, The Choir

It is with great sadness that I just read that the Festival will discontinue after this year. I "got saved" when I was 19 and now I am 53 and the Festival has been a part of my life even when I could not attend. A few years ago I brought my two teen-age sons...As I got older the music became less important and the seminars took on greater significance but I always enjoyed the atmosphere.

Thank you so much for all you have done for me & my family all these years in providing the festival. I am so very sad to hear the news but I am sure God has a plan for all of you that will further His kingdom, but could not come to be if you would continue to focus so much of your effort on the festival. God bless you all during this challenging time of transition. May God give you peace.

If it were not for JPUSA and what this festival has meant to me for the last 11 years, I don't know that I would have been able to maintain my faith through all the ups and downs of church ministry. I love you all you guys and want you to know that you have enriched my life more than you will ever know. No matter how the Cornerstone festival community moves into the future, it will always be an enduring work for Christ in the lives of so many.

Please let us know if you ever establish a new thing in place of Cornerstone. Honestly i think our 2 sons and one son-in-law grew into such Godly men mainly because of the contacts they formed at Cornerstone each year. They saw they could follow christ and not have to buy into main line religion and it's trappings. Thanks for your ministry.

Aradhna is still committed to coming money or no money! We'll be there rocking out with you and thanking God for the many years that you all served God faithfully to make Cornerstone a powerful force for Jesus in the lives of many

Deadhorse will still be playing and still honored to be a part of this farewell year. Cornerstone has played a huge part in my life personally, I couldn't miss it for the world.

Destroy Nate Allen is still coming! Not getting paid is not an issue for us. Please consider us 100% Confirmed still. Also we will be bringing 5 piece ska band with us to back us up so we'll bring the best party we can to send things out right!

NOOOOOOO! Say it ain't so! Cornerstone Festival is the high point of my year. I meet so many wonderful brothers and sisters from all over the country and the world. it is the only time we get to see each other and share what God has done in the past year over our morning Coffee.
