Frontman Brian Rushing comes from a family lineage of classic rock, country and blue grass musicians, with a percussive, aggressive playing style all his own. The various members of the band infuse Rushing's songwriting with influences including gospel, jazz, reggae, latin, rock and funk. Motorist Jones aims to challenge Christians to grow in their relationship with Christ and to invite non-believers to see the benefits of having a personal relationship with God.
