The New Band Showcase has been a staple in Cornerstone Festival's diverse existence for years. One look at just some of the past winners and you'll understand why. P.O.D., Eisley, Sixpence None the Richer, Ester Drang, and Over the Rhine have all been a part of what has become a wellspring of up and coming talent and a place to find the most groundbreaking new bands.
Bands! To enter you will need to fill out an application and upload mp3s, a photo, and a bio to our website. If you are approved, you will have your own unique page that will stay online from the time you submit until the end of the summer. The earlier you submit, the more promotion you get out of our site.
Remember, your profile will be featured on our website until after the festival, the exposure alone is worth the entry fee!
- There will be 16 winners overall.
- All winners will play on Main Stage!
- All winners will be chosen by a combination of votes from our web audience and by our industry insiders after the online voting is over.
- Only the winners will be contacted.
Voting starts March 15, 2012 and ends May 3, 2012. Winners will be announced on or around May 10th.
Sign up will start Friday - bands will be listed in the order they apply so check back soon!
