NEW IN 2007! For 20+ years, one more thing that has made Cornerstone
Cornerstone has been our annual assembly of a unique group of
knowledgeable and interesting people who share their experience and expertise
in the form of the daily seminar program. This year the seminar program is
cstoneXchange and the exchange continues in a new venue for that
conversation, less formal than a lecture, more like a talk show.
The Talking Stage is on the main midway, near the venders: grab some
coffee and catch a conversation in-progress.
Maybe you'll get pulled into the topic and end up joining the speaker's
seminar the next day. Or catch a speaker whose seminar you just missed.
There will also be readings by authors and poets, and other variations on the
spoken word. There's even been talk of eventually broadcasting The
Talking Stage around the grounds on a limited-range AM frequency, and
posting the interviews online as podcasts. Join us as we explore the
possibilities each night from 7 PM to 10 pm at Cornerstone 2007 at The
Talking Stage.
UPDATE (6-9-07): This list of times, topics and
interviewer/interviewees will provide a general sense of what's happening,
though no doubt things will turn out much more fluid all around.
